Beyond a sorority needing $$$ to colonize here, the challenge will be that as more and more girls go through recruitment, the need for new sororities will escalate faster - and even if you have something like 18 or 20 chapters, you still are having huge chapters. Look at Alabama - they have 22 chapters, most of which have huge numbers. I personally think having 350-400 girls in a house defeats the purpose of a sorority - hard to have a really tight sisterhood with those numbers. Because Theta has a smaller chapter (about 250?), many girls say they have a closer sisterhood. And there is also the issue of land for new houses. Maybe a sorority could buy the Zeta house from OM, then tear ir down and rebuild, although the lot isn't that big. Otherwise maybe the parking lot across from Chi O could be used, but that's still only a few places.
