I know a lot of girls at Ole Miss from my high school and they keep telling me that I have a bid to their sororities already and that they really want me. Their sorority friends that I do not personally know keep following me on social media and inviting me to go out with them when school starts. I know this is all part of the process but are they allowed to talk to me and hang out with me? Is this considered dirty rushing? I don't want my connections to keep me from having chances at other houses because I am unsure of what house I want. What should i do?
