Top tier houses cut the most after the first round due to how variable quota works. Middle tiers cut a good amount but not as much. Early cuts, especially from top tiers, are based heavily on connections, grades and reputation risks. Don't take cuts personally in the early rounds. And even in later rounds girls get cut who aren't seen as the best fit or who don't have lots of actives pushing for them.
