No but I know my mom was here in the late 80's and she said that the only mom she ever heard of showing up was her freshman (rush) year when a girl on her halls mom came storming into the dorm yelling at her daughter that she WOULD PLEDGE her legacy house and there would be no more discussion about it (so there you go a crazy mom story) however, she said she felt very pressured last year to come for bid day (she didn't and people made her feel bad about it)- and also felt pressured to send me a bid day basket and gifts.
