It takes way more than a new house to move tiers. If that were the case, all the "new" houses before them would have jumped tiers - and they haven't. If you look at the history of when sororities started at Ole Miss, the top and mid tier houses were earliest...Chi O, followed by Tri Delt. Then DG, KD, Phi Mu and Kappa (not sure of exact order to these houses). AOPi, Pi Phi and ADPi came in the 60's, I think. Theta came in the late 70's. My prediction is Alpha Phi could move to the "top of the lower tier", bypassing ADPi and AOPi, not necessarily because of the house but because they seem to have a lot of energy going for them.
