You're pretty much right but with one exception: girls who suicide put themselves at risk for not getting a bid. Someone who did this posted above about how this actually does happen. And I have known of a few girls who somehow fell through the cracks - it's rare, but it has happened and it wasn't because of being released. But for the most part, everyone who rushes - and does not suicide - does get a bid.
