Bringing in a new group would not solve the problem. RFM has been used during sorority recruitment for a decade, with mixed results. Wise NPC groups are looking into how RFM has positively and negatively affected recruitment and their chapters nationwide. I think a new NPC recruitment standard will be brought forth in the next 2-4 years. We have seen too many giant chapters and too many campuses where there is no land or housing available for the burgeoning growth the RFM sorority experience is causing. Changing more campuses from three max pref homes during recruitment to two is the newest norm NPC is attempting this Fall. There is also the elephant in the room of NPC groups often having distinct personalities and sizes of membership and pocketbook. When one campus wants to expand but already has all the giant NPC sorority groups on its campus, it can become problematic to integrate that campus using a smaller, less financially capable NPC sorority. NPC believes each of its groups have worth and dignity, and the right to exist under our united banner. But it is both a blessing and a burden that some NPC groups are very different from the others.
