Agree with your point. And as ridiculous as this sounds, there's a reason AOPi and Pi Phi renovated their houses to add "Southern architecture" - columns, shutters, etc. They were originally modern style houses built in the 60's (so was ADPi which is the Honors College now) and my aunts who went to OM in the 80's said that was - in some odd way - a turn-off. Probably wouldn't matter now with so many girls from out of the region, but back then it was 99% Mississippi and Southern girls who like that style. And that's why the new houses have Southern style too, even with so many OOS and out of region girls.
