Without connections, its going to be difficult for you to make it past the first two rounds of cuts if you don't have any connections. With connections (more than just a few), you should be able to survive at least a few rounds. Chapter legacies are pretty much guaranteed bids, unless they are just a hot mess. This is true for all top houses. I'm not sure how Tri Delt treats non-chapter legacies, but in my house, we will release them after first round if we are not interested in giving them a bid, just so they don't get their hopes up and then can concentrate on other houses.
