Yes, looks will help. Yes, grades will help. BUT what you need to focus on is BEING YOURSELF. Forming bonds with the girls you're talking to during recruitment is the ultimate goal! If you talk to a girl who's beautiful and has average grades but has the personality of a door knob or a personality that doesn't fit in your chapter, they will get cut. If a girl who isn't as pretty and also has average grades BUT has a lovable personality that you can see fitting in your chapter, they will most likely get a bid! Bottom line: don't be shy, look presentable, get the grades and you'll do fine. Whatever chapter you end up in is the chapter that you fit in the most with and that's better than not being yourself and ending up in a chapter that you don't fit in at!
