Thank you, tired senior, for saying it all so well. It's also important to state that each house is allowed a certain number back to the next round and they can't go one single pnm over that number. You probably do have a great GPA and resume, but so does every other pnm, and you probably did have great conversations and connected with the members you talked to and they really like you and wanted you, but it's a chapter decision and the chapter has a cut off number. It will sting when you get cut but get over it and go back to your other houses with a smile on your face. This system forces the sororities to make their decisions early enough in the process to allow pnm's a chance with other chapters where they actually have a chance, instead of leading them along and waiting to make huge drops before pref and leaving pnm's with no houses left. Turn off the noise and outside voices, don't let the ridiculous rumors get to you, don't let what other pnm's say get to you because some pnm's lie too and none of them actually know anything, and above all don't believe the awful things on this site.
