I feel like when we rank the chapters we just rank them the way we were told/the way we heard from others. But what actually makes the differences? The tier system is something I legit never understood. No hate please I just really want to know if there's an actual reason. All chapters have good looking people, some (at least a few) bad looking people, rude, smart, dumb, nice, rich, and not-so-rich people. I'm in a "middle tier" house so we pair with frats "higher" than us occasionally and "lower" than us occasionally, but I've had fun at both ends. What specifically determines the ranks aside from historically being dubbed as a "top"/"middle"/"bottom" house?
