As someone who was in ASA, we had multiple opportunities to have a house on campus. When those opportunities presented themselves we brought it up with the whole chapter and all of us decided we did not want to have a house. It was way too expensive and that’s not what our chapter was about. Everyone has different situations and if your family is willing to pay the $8000 in dues for rent alone, Good for you. But some people actually have to pay their own sorority dues and it’s not worth. The money and all the rules you have to follow from the University Are not worth the rent you have to pay to stay there
