Ok I feel this so hard, I'm a senior and still don't feel like I truly connect with the girls in my chapter and that I would genuinely fit in better at the house I put as my first choice. I did what you did, stuck it out, and yeah I have fun with the girls but are they my future bridesmaids? No, definitely not. It's a little sad, but that's just how it went for me. HOWEVER, I don't regret sticking it out throughout school because my chapter here and nationally has given me a lot of opportunities for leadership/generally helped me grow as a more confident person. And the social life has been way more fun than being a geed that's for sure I think it is worth it to stick it out if you are looking for more than just lifelong friends from Greek life. Obviously, meeting your best friends while enjoying all the perks is ideal, but there is still more opportunities there if you are willing to accept the situation and take advantage of them!! But if you don't care about all that extra stuff and are strictly looking for friendships, then yes I 100% understand dropping if you're not feeling it.
