Well, there is a minimum GPA to even go through rush and most houses have standards that may be higher than that minimum so if you only have a GPA that is the bare minimum then expect to have limited options on what houses might invite you back. GPA isn't the only thing considered but it is an easy factor that can get you cut early if it isn't strong unless you have a lot of other factors going in your favor.
