People told you you'd end up in top houses because that's what you wanted to hear. Very few people are truly honest with people other than their closest friends, not even them sometimes. It may or may not work out for you the second time around, but one good thing to look at is what will you do differently this time that you didn't do last time? You said you have made friends in houses, which is good. But have you made anyone in houses mad, as well? Have you avoided being sloppy drunk at events fraternity parties? Have you dated anyone's too recent ex-boyfriend? Spend first semester keeping your grades up, do some volunteer work, join a professional organization, get involved in something. Sophomores really can't fall back on high school activities, so you are going to have to have something on your resume. Good luck, I hope it works out for you! :)
