Pi Phi seems to be more highly desired by PNMS during recruitment than Theta is. They are very different chapters. Theta has been on social probation with their Nationals for the better part of three years, they just got off probo March of this year. Having such a limited social calendar for three years really does hurt your reputation. Even girls who don't party all that much would like to have an event every now an then. Also, Pi Phi attracts a more outgoing, outwardly attractive type than Theta. Don't get me wrong, I think Theta has attractive girls, they are just more low-key and more athletic. Pi Phi hasn't had a Little 500 team in at least two years. During recruitment, Theta looks for grades, connections, old money, etc. While Pi Phi looks for more for looks and out going personalities.
