1. Indiana is a one sided consent state when it comes to recording. Period. That is state law. You are free to record any conversation you are a participant in. Its not unethical at all. It ensures that commitment made verbally are established and clear. That way, people can't reneg on a deal. 2. Agreed. If it isn't in the rule book, it isn't a rule. I have the same issue with the IU Code of Rights and Responsibilities when it comes to Greek life. Rules must be written. 3. Yeah, this is odd. 4. Perhaps appeals should be able to be made to Rider's Council....Would seem to make more sense
