The tier system will be the ultimate detriment to IU. IF you want pretend it’s not real or not a problem, you are engaging in it. The tier system is what prevents greek life from feeling any real unity. Socials of lower tier houses not getting responses from fraternities creates a divide. The way immediate judgements are made based on being in an upper or lower house divide us. The tier system is the thing that makes those outside of Greek life laugh in our faces when we talk about the importance of the high ideals of Greek chapters. The tier system is essentially infighting and if we cannot have unity amongst ourselves Greek life will be in serious trouble.
