I'm not in ASA so I don't know what their pledge class is like, but according to the IU Greek Life Academic report they had 166 members in Spring 2018. That's higher than most chapters at IU. So in some ways ASA has been successful and provided programming that has been worth it for PNMs. Now things likely shifted a bit, but I wouldn't count ASA out yet. I do agree with you regarding the rest of your post, wholeheartedly.
