People are talking about ASA being gone in a few years because of low numbers in their pledge class, but then this site just keeps dumping on them. All you see on this site is put downs of the "lower tier" chapters. Yes, there are put downs of "top tiers" (also not ok), but they have the history, and foundation to not have it affect their rush. IU is already down one chapter and may lose another. They can't afford to lose another chapter. All the girls who go through Recruitment need to open their eyes and realize that soon there will be fewer and fewer spots for new pledges. If they didn't like their results this year, what do they think will happen when there are even fewer chapters? Panhel needs to be providing more support to newer chapters like ASA and DPhiE. They need to be working with those organizations nationals to help them better understand how to be successful at IU. They need to be working with girls going through recruitment to help them understand not everyone is an APhi or Pi PHi and that is OK! There is a home for everyone and great girls in every chapter, despite what they read on Greek Rank. There is way too much focus on the party aspect of Greek life and not enough on sister/brotherhood that comes with joining a chapter. The chapters themselves help perpetuate this crap as well with this tier BS. Unless Greek life matures and remembers why their chapters were founded, it could be the end of all Greek life in the next few years.
