Poster Name:snap bids definition
Poster Message:
Snap bidding occurs immediately following the bid-matching process, which includes quota additions if applicable, and ends at the time bids are distributed. Chapters not matching to quota are eligible to snap bid. Chapters should prepare a snap bid list after submitting their bid list. PNMs who are unmatched and participated in at least one recruitment event are eligible to receive a snap bid. A PNM may be offered more than one snap bid at a time, so it is best for the fraternity/sorority advisor or the College Panhellenic president to be the person contacting PNMs. The individual should make it clear to the PNM how many opportunities she is receiving and that she will be bound to the selection if she chooses to accept. During snap bidding, the College Panhellenic recruitment officer monitors who has accepted snap bids and presents the MRABA for the PNM to sign.
