They CAN take a pledge class but have no celebration or party. If the situation is found not to be serious, they can then continue pledgeship. If their nationals step in, then the pledge class will end up like Tri Delta did: they will be released to pledge elsewhere ( if anybody is still wanting to add pledges after a few weeks). It’s NOT a great situation. PNM’s would do well to rethink their final prefs and go elsewhere. Pledge a house where you KNOW you can become an initiated sister, participate in events, etc. A “popular house” means nothing if you’re on probation or in danger of losing your charter. THINK ABOUT IT.....
