I believe in this case "making plans" does not equate with "going to have a house really soon". Sororities make many types of plans of differing time lengths, and at this time apparently IU has no interest in bringing buildable land into SKs future. Therefore I believe SK is making long-term plans for building a home, using that time wisely to gather funds, draw tentative building plans, look into meal plans/bed numbers/employee need, etc. Sorority life at IU no longer requires a group have a home to enjoin a dedicated group of women being their best and doing their best for themselves, their campus and the IU community.
