Everyone keeps saying that iU isn’t selling anymore land to anyone but is that actually a fact or is it something that people are just saying? As in, has anyone on this board actually ever had a conversation with IU real estate about it? A new lot has not been sold at IU since the 90s but that doesn’t mean IU isn’t willing. I know of example the Pike was given a letter of support from IU real estate to build a house. All the land on Jordan was intended to be for Greek housing so it wouldn’t make sense for IU to refuse a good offer The other thing is that if IU won’t sell, a chapter with financing backing could buy contiguous properties in Bloomington and have them reZoned so they could build a house. I would think there are a few properties on Atwater as well as a few vacant lots on 7th Street a block from Sigma Chi that would work nicely..
