I am going to be brutally honest. Do not drop and count on a bid through informal this year. The chapters you may not like right now are the ones most likely to be doing informal. Last year was an anomaly. AGD will not be taking 75 members to fill their addition. ZTA will not need 80 women to cover all of the drops from the year before. Also, DDD is gone. The odds of anyone doing informal is slim to none, unless they don't make quota. Also, if a chapter cut you after 16, they are not going to suddenly be interested in you after recruitment. Stick out recruitment until the end. Pref is a game changer and you may see things in a chapter you did not see before. Go to pref. If after pref, you are still not sure then drop. Keep in mind, informal is never a given, so don't expect it.
