the sad thing about this is that any girl who tries to join underground chapters will think they're on the same level as the real tri delts, but it will never be the same. Even if the old members made them learn about tri delta things and go through tri delta initiation, it will not hold any weight for any real tri delta member, and they will not have the same sort of bond as initiated sisters. If you want to be friends with these girls, that's great! Go ahead! Make as many friends with anyone you want, but don't pretend that you're in a group you're never going to be a part of just because you want to claim that identity you're not entitled to. It also baffles me that people on here use the "they have such close friendships" excuse for girls wanting to join. Like okay...can these quasi-pnms not make their own close friendships? You don't need to be in a clique to have super close friends with a group of girls. Just...make friends. It almost sounds like all of those "elite private school mean girl books" we all ready in middle school. Like you don't need to be in "The Pretty Committee" to have fun and make friends.
