Let's do some real comparisons... Number of women who registered for recruitment at IU: 1941 Number of women who registered for recruitment at Bama: 2875 Number of women who attended open houses at IU: 1654 Number of women who attended open houses at Bama: 2438 Total number of PNMs released by all chapters at IU: 7 Total number of PNMs released by all chapters at Bama: 62 Total number of PNMs in bid matching who were matched at IU (1st, 2nd or 3rd choice): 1,199 - 94% Total number of PNMs in bid matching who were matched at Bama: 2,291 - 99% It is also important to note that 40% of the women going to preference at IU did NOT list all options on their pref card. The bottom line is that at Bama, the majority of women trust the process and realize that being in a sorority is an experience they want to have, and accept that the process will place them where they belong. At IU, women only want to be in the "top tier" and so they drop out of recruitment completely OR they don't maximize their options. Roll Tide!
