You cannot discount that there are, and will most likely continue to be, IU women comfortable with the type of sorority experience Delta Phi Epsilon offers. DPhiE's difficult task for the foreseeable future is to perform and recruit beyond their perceived campus status. While DPhiE's reasons for coming to IU may not correspond with reasons some people wish to join a sorority, they have initiated women chosen by DPhiE standards and should be allowed to continue as a fraternal group as long as they are able to uphold their own standard of affiliation. DPhiE is a worthy member of our NPC greek community and will, given time, grow into a more viable and visible IU organization.
