Here's some advice as we are approaching recruitment. ALL CHAPTERS ARE GREAT. Let me say it louder for those in the back. ALL CHAPTERS ARE GREAT. Try not to get your heart set on a couple of chapters going into recruitment. I did when I went through and wish I wouldn't have. You will either change your mind about them or get cut from them and you'll have a much better experience if you stay open minded and truly get to know all the chapters. Do not and I repeat DO NOT be rude to any of the chapters. Come into each chapter with a smile and a great attitude. If you don't, a chapter can immediately cut you from them or worse, kick you out of recruitment altogether. It's best to just treat every chapter with respect! Look around at each chapter and look at the girls in it. Then try to picture yourself fitting in with them/hanging out with them everyday. If your conversations aren't going the greatest, then maybe it's not the chapter for you. But, at the same time, if you have one bad convo, that doesn't mean the whole chapter is bad. Dont rule out the unhoused just because they're unhoused. I have friends in the unhoused chapters and they love it so much. They tell me it's the best of both worlds b/c you can still hang out with your sisters whenever you want, but go back to your own rooms at night. Also, something to keep in mind: TPA encourages sisters to live together and ASA has like a house without the bedrooms that you can hangout/eat/study at but you just don't sleep at.
