ive always considered it a huge pyramid scheme. like the chapters run themselves and girls hold these positions for free labor, and we funnel the money up toward our nationals which just fuels the machine. like i love the friends ive made but i could drop and save thousands of dollars and still have those friends. i definitely like it for the fact that im more likely to hear about parties, but you really have to know the right people to get the inside on all the fun stuff. i wouldnt necessarily recommend people rush though, its probably just better to know someone who is in greek life and can get you those invites.
