All these people are virtue signaling telling you to join because they won't have to deal with what you will have to deal with. Yeah maybe most of your sorority will be accepting, but these frat boys won't trust me. I'm sure the lgbtq has a club where you can find a group that is fully accepting, but greek life? You're going to experience more harm than good. You might not get verbally discriminated against, but you'll feel the eyes of many. Its up to you really, if you really want to join and you are a strong minded person who can handle sly comments then do it, just be prepared.
