You didn't specify whether you are male or female, but I think it's easier for a junior to rush a fraternity than it is a sorority. Mostly because there are fewer sororities but lots of girls rushing, and Panhellenic houses are a lot more revenue and quota conscious than the frats. You also need to be prepared for being 21 in a pledge class full of mostly 18 year olds experiencing college for the first time. You'll be the one going out to get them alcohol and may not have as many opportunities to go out to the bars bc many of your closest friends will not be able to get in? Where are you transferring from?
