Hey whats up, I'll be a freshman at the U of A this fall and am moving down to Tucson in like 10 days for IFC recruitment. My dad was in a frat way back when and talks a lot about what pledging was like and how much fun he and his buddies had. But one of my friends (at another school, not Arizona) says most of the frats don't do pledging anymore like maybe it's illegal? My dad says that can't be true, however he was in college a lonnnng time ago. So it there still pledging for the frats or do you just join and become a member? Also if it still happens what can I expect out of pledging? Will it affect my grades?
