Yes, grades are important, but most of the sororities take grade risk excluding chi o. Half of the girls that rush don't even have 3.0's so that would mean half of the girls are going to end up in bottom tier which isn't true. Arizona is not an amazing academic school so you can't really expect every PNM to have a 3.0
