I was worried about the same thing coming to UA this fall semester. I really wanted to love my sorority experience. I will say I had a tough time transitioning and finding a place in my pledge class, and my sorority is usually incorrect mislabeled/frowned upon by other Greeks (sororities, not frats) and I absolutely love my big. She's been my saving grace, my best friend, my closest friend. UA and the sororities have nothing to do with how close you are with your big, but rather it is pure luck and chance that she finds you and you two click, whether through recruitment or big/lil sister pairings in the first few months.
