I was a junior who just went through rush this year.. it was difficult because girls would ask you "what dorm do you live in." Typically juniors don't live in dorms. We live in apartments and I do as well. So every time I answered, "I live off campus" they asked about my year in school and it was obvious that they were thrown off when I said I was a junior. Two houses dropped me right away (as expected) but I ended up getting a bid from a "top tier" house. Being a junior rushing means you're going to have to work ten times harder than the freshman just to have the same chance as they will. Also be aware that if you get into a house you will be surrounded by your pledge class of about 100 freshman.. it can be hard to fit in.
