This is great. I love the part about looking around at the other PNMs instead of just at the sisters. This is especially true at preference. Houses change every year. You may think you haven't made any connections with any of the sisters but look around today at the other PNMs at your preference parties. Because there's a good chance a lot of them will be your pledge sisters. And those are the girls you will be the closest with anyway. I'm not going to waste time convincing girls not to drop out. Because if you're really that stubborn and stuck up that you think the houses that actually LIKED you aren't good enough for you, you probably wouldn't be happy in greek life anyway. People who have too high expectations end up dropping out/unhappy. Your sorority will be what you make of it. You have to put in the effort to make friends just like you would in any other situation. You can't expect to join a house and instantly have 200+ bffs. It just doesn't work that way, despite what it may seem like or the actives tell you.
