Homecoming isn't like how it is in high school. There's no dance. Basically its a week long of events. The sorority and fraternity partner together and plan events, and build a float together. And party and tailgate together. And there's usually a date dash involved. The fraternity asks the sorority by sending a bunch of guys over to the sorority to serenade them or do something cute, and then they ask them to do homecoming with them. Its not just the top houses. All houses will do homecoming unless they are on probation.
