This is so true! And my story is actually similar to the one above. I ended up joining a "good" house and I'm quite happy with where I ended up, but because I completely shut out the idea of joining those bottom houses, I always wonder now what it would be like if I ended up in one of them. During rush, its so easy to get caught up in wanting to join a top house. Lets face it, Alpha Phi puts on a much better rush than Tri delt. (I'm not in APhi just saying) But that doesn't mean they're better. There's so much more to sorority life than being swooned by a house during rush. I'm going to say something that I would never say in real life, but I hear girls in houses like tri delt/adpi/chio talk about how much they love their sorority WAY MORE than girls in my house do. I still love my sorority with all my heart, but part of me wonders what I'm missing out on. I'm only saying this because PNMs should know that as long as you're rushing because you want a sisterhood, you will find that in ANY house as long as you have the right attitude.
