No. Not really. I don't find it disrespectful. Their "pledges" know what they're getting themselves into. No one is forcing them to join. I highly doubt any guy who knowingly joins a disbanded fraternity would have the ambition to end up as IFC president anyway. Its not like anyone is taking anything away from them. They are choosing to join. Same sort of situation with D chi. I mean how does it "take away from the actual greek community"? Thats like saying students who join clubs on campus and don't have the time to go greek/choose not to are taking away from greek life. They made their choice. Let them be. Don't really see what the issue is.
