Yeah this happens a lot, most frats pref like twice as many people as they need to in case the guy takes another bid and SigChi takes unusually small pledge classes for being one of the large fraternities. Fall 14 they took like 20 guys. A lot of rushees put SigChi as a top pick throughout and therefore get let down when they only bid like 25 people. It's weird that you didn't have a backup but I would just rush again. What houses did you have at the top of your list all week?
