I rushed last year because I wanted to make friends and told myself I wasn't going to join any sorority but fell in love with the house I'm in now.. just do it because it's nothing like you think it's going to be and you're going to wish you at least tried it, drop out of rush half way through if you think it's not for you! Also, going in with the mindset that I wasn't going to join a house really took the stress off things and made it easy to find the house I fit in with(:
