Ugh. Your post was good up until you started discussing top houses. I'm in one of those houses but I still think that "middle" or "bottom" houses are just as good. There's NOTHING wrong with ending up in a lower tier house. Go where your heart tell you to. Or just keep an open mind, trust the process, and accept any bid you're given because all the houses here are amazing and have so much to offer. Also, frat boys don't discriminate based on what house you're in. I have friends in bottom tier houses who get invited to more formals and weekenders than some of my sisters do. If you're cute and fun, guys DO NOT care about your letters. At all.
