I rushed with a 2.8 and got a bid. Definitely not a bid to a house that most if any girls want as their first choice, but it was still a bid and I ended up perfectly content in my sorority. Technically, any house will make exceptions for you if you they want you enough. But you need to have a stellar resume and be drop dead gorgeous if you want a bid to a top tier house. Unless it's APhi. Alpha Phi will take grade risks as long as you're hot and not awkward or poor. If you're average looking, have an average resume, and have a 2.9 gpa, be prepared for cuts. You can make your experience a little easier by getting recs, but even they aren't a guarantee. Be prepared to end up in a middle tier house at best.
