You should just rush in the spring! Honestly i think what matters the most is if you get along with the girls and can see yourself making life long friends in the sorority. at the end of the day, being in a "top tier" sorority really isn't important, what's important is that you choose a house that makes you happy. the best advice i can give you is check out the sororities that rush in the spring and just see how you feel about them, you might end up finding the perfect house for you!
