A membership review by the national fraternity is standard procedure, both to limit claims for bad acts, reduce harm to current members and guests, and to protect the National Fraternity’s relationship to with campus administration partners and the Alumni Volunteer Corporation in case a temporary closure and recolonization is necessary."
