As someone who went through UT rush last year with three legacies in the big 6 (and two of the three UT legacies), I ended up getting a bid from one of my legacies. It is by no means a guarantee - I actually got cut from one of mine relatively early but I wouldn't have fit in there either. However, be prepared to get cut from houses based on your legacy alone and most of what was important is who you know inside the house as they will be the ones pulling for you (and talking to other girls in other chapters saying they want you). Rush will be challenging as most girls who aren't from certain neighborhoods, who don't know a lot of girls in houses and who aren't on Pom and cheer probably won't have their top choices all back. It is a very competitive rush but incredibly rewarding making friends and meeting great people in Greek life here!
