Jesus Christ, you're bitter. Obviously not, but the process does bring out who's truly serious about it. FYI, many were pre-selected because it is the chapter's opinion that they're nice, agreeable girls...for the most part. Mostly high qual girls are going through rush. There's not enough room for all 1400-1500, so the ones who haul as$ make the cut. If you wanted in and didn't have the connections, you should have begun hunting for good, well-connected references spring of your junior year of high school. Hard lesson some learn.
