Even if you've "read" of other girls doing this...it's still just a myth. It's next to impossible due to the Panhellenic database. I think your best bet is to stay unaffiliated with Greek life at your current school, work on getting an amazing GPA and extracurricular involvement, and make Greek connections at UT. Whether it's current girls in the chapter, the Austin/UT Panhellenic association or Panhellenic association in your current town. That way you'll have good rec opportunities and people to vouch for you. But like Go Greek said, it'll be tough as a transfer. Just manage your expectations and make sure you look at all chapters. :)
